CBRE’s Moscow Retail team in Russia advised Pompa, a manufacturer of women's clothing from St. Petersburg, working under its own brand, in lease deal of its first store in Moscow in the shopping center "Oceania”.
The first Pompa store was opened in December 2016. The chain is planning to open other six stores in the Russian capital in 2017.
The total area of Oceania shopping centre is 137,000 sq m (GLA 60,000 sq m) and an underground parking for 1,100 cars. It was commissioned in 2016.
The total area of the first Pompa store in Moscow is 102 sq m. The Pompa chain has currently 80 stores in 40 regions around Russia. This modern brand offers business clothes for young women over 25 years old in mid segment.
Olga Korolevskaya, consultant, Moscow Retail Department, CBRE commented: "For the past 22 years Pompa stores attracted buyers in St. Petersburg and the regions. When entering the Moscow market, we focused, primarily, on the success of the shopping centre. That is why Oceania was selected as the best project in 2016 . As we can see, the brand found its customers who chose the winter collection of designer coats. After all, the average check in Pompa store is 15,000 rubles."
